69th Annual Reunion October 23-26, 2008 Tuscany Suites & Casino, Las Vegas, NV
Come join us for the 69th annual reunion for the Sheldon Family Association in Las Vegas! We have reserved 50 rooms at the Tuscany Suites & Casino, one half block from the Las Vegas strip on Flamingo Road. The Tuscany has 4 restaurants (one open 24 hours), a sports bar, a small casino, 2 pools, and a coffee bar/snack shop poolside. All rooms are suites, either 1 king or 2 double beds, with a fridge; microwave ovens are available on request. We have asked to be in a building near all the activities; the hotel buildings are handicap accessible, as is the monorail system on the Strip. If you have special needs, please let us know on your SFA registration forms. Follow the link below to check out the other hotel amenities. If you own a camper/RV and prefer to stay in a campground, the four closest are: Sam's RV Park, Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Circusland RV Park, and Arizona Charlie's East RV Park. As always, we will have a hospitality suite, with all kinds of Sheldon facts dating back to the 1600's in the U.S. However, since this year's reunion is in Las Vegas, with a wide variety of things to see and do, we are keeping the scheduled events to a minimum, allowing you to plan your own activities. We have moved our Friday meal to the morning to give you more free time to take advantage of tours, golfing, gambling, shows...whatever suits your style. The Tuscany has a concierge onsite to assist you. Transportation: the city bus comes to the Tuscany every 15 minutes (Vegas Buses), or you can walk to the monorail, which runs from one end of the Strip to the other in 15 minutes (available 7am-3am weekends for about $10 for all day passes).
