Rev. Henry O.  Sheldon began collecting Sheldon genealogy more than 150 years ago.

Is this your first visit to the Sheldon Family Association Website? The SFA has been around for nearly 70 years! Our Association was formed to "grow" the work of the late Reverend Henry O. Sheldon (1799-1882) who spent a lifetime collecting and documenting information on Sheldons. He organized this information into what he called The Sheldon Magazine.

Here's what we'd like you to do. We have computer records of nearly 70,000 Sheldon names. If you have a Sheldon ancestor, contact our Genealogist at the address below and she will work with you to help make the connection. Give her as much information as you have in a family group sheet format. List your forebears as far back as you can.
