The Lizzie Borden house at 92 Second Street in Fall River, MA has recently been opened to the public. How many have driven to Fall River to discover it was not open to the public? Now a bed and breakfast, it is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Pamela Sheldon and her husband David Howe were married there 104 years to the day that Andrew Borden was killed. Former SFA treasurer Jeanne Knowles sent the clipping from the August 5, 1996 Providence Journal Bulletin with a photo of Pamela and her groom. It was a dream come true for Pamela to have her wedding there and for the public to have this historic home opened.
The article says Pamela is the daughter of Ira Sheldon of Fall River.
